Batch Photo Watermark: Add Text to Many Photos in Your Browser
Add a text watermark to up to 20 photos at once, in one position or tiled across the photo, with a live preview. Photos are processed in your browser and never uploaded. Saves new copies.
Your photos are processed inside this browser, on a canvas. They are not uploaded and no server ever receives them. Each result is a new file; your originals are never changed or overwritten.

When to use this
- You share product, portfolio or event photos online and want your name or shop on each one.
- You have a batch of photos and do not want to upload them to a website you do not know.
- You want a faint repeated watermark across the whole picture, not just a corner.
How to use
- Choose up to 20 PNG, JPEG or WebP photos.
- Type the watermark text and pick a position, size, opacity, angle and colour. The preview of the first photo updates as you type.
- Pick the longest side for the saved copies, or keep the original size.
- Press Add watermark to all photos, then download each new file or all of them.
Examples
- Shop name across product photos: Text "MyShop", tiled, 45 percent opacity, -30 degrees, white. Good for photos you share publicly: the mark is repeated so it cannot be cropped out in one move.
- Small signature in a corner: Text "(c) Jane Doe 2026", position bottom right, 4 percent size, 70 percent opacity. Keeps the photo clean while still marking it.
Understanding the result
Text size is a percentage of the short side of each photo, so the mark looks the same on small and large photos. In tiled mode the text repeats on a grid that is turned by the angle and centred on the photo. Every tile that touches the photo is drawn. The saved copy keeps the file type: PNG stays PNG with its transparency, JPEG stays JPEG. Photos are turned upright using their EXIF orientation before drawing.
Limitations
- A watermark discourages casual copying. It does not stop a determined person from removing it or from using the photo. Never rely on it as legal protection.
- Only text watermarks are supported, not logos or images. Only PNG, JPEG and WebP photos are supported: HEIC, GIF, SVG and RAW files are skipped.
- Photos are re-encoded, so JPEG and WebP copies can differ slightly in quality and size. Metadata such as EXIF is normally dropped from the copy.
- Very large photos can fail on phones and tablets because of memory limits. Use fewer or smaller photos, or the 2048 px option.
FAQ
How do I add a watermark to multiple photos at once?
Choose all the photos in the file picker, type the watermark text, set the look and press the button. You then download each new file, or all of them.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The photos are drawn on a canvas inside your browser and saved from there. There is no upload and no server copy. You can check that nothing is sent by working offline once the page has loaded.
Will it overwrite my original photos?
No. Each result is a new download with -watermarked in the name. Your originals stay as they are.
Does it keep transparent PNG images transparent?
Yes. PNG files are saved as PNG, and the transparent parts stay transparent. Only the text is added on top.
Why was my photo skipped?
A photo is skipped when it is not a PNG, JPEG or WebP, is over 25 MB, has more than 16 megapixels or 8192 pixels on a side, or when your browser runs out of memory. The list shows the reason for each.
