The tools on this site give general estimates. They are not financial, medical, legal, engineering or safety advice, and they do not replace a professional who can see your situation.
Home, building and garden quantities
Material estimates for paint, flooring, tile, drywall, decking, fencing, concrete, gravel, soil and similar jobs use the sizes you enter plus stated waste allowances. Actual need changes with the product, the layout, cuts, uneven surfaces and how you work. Pack sizes and coverage vary by brand, so use the figure on the product label. Structural items such as post footings, retaining walls and deck framing depend on soil, load, frost depth and local building codes. A result here is not a design: ask a qualified professional and your local authority before you build.
Cooking and baking conversions
Conversions between cups, spoons and grams use typical ingredient densities. Flour, sugar and other ingredients differ by brand, packing and humidity, and cup sizes differ between countries. Scaled recipes may not behave the same: salt, spices, leavening, pan size and cooking time often do not scale in a straight line. Food safety, such as cooking temperatures and allergens, is your responsibility.
Sewing, knitting and craft quantities
Fabric, yarn and size estimates depend on your gauge, pattern, fabric width and cutting. Buy a little extra and check the pattern or yarn label, especially for dye lots.
Tires, speed and fuel
The tire size comparison shows how a change in tire size alters diameter and speedometer reading. It is for information only. Fitment, load rating, speed rating, clearance, legality and safety depend on your vehicle and local rules; check the vehicle manual and ask a qualified tire professional before changing sizes. Fuel cost estimates use the prices and economy you enter.
Check amount in words
The converter writes an amount in words in the usual US style. Banks and recipients may have their own requirements. Check every line against the amount in figures before you sign or send a check. You remain responsible for the check you write.
Time, schedules and business days
Time zone, meeting, business-day and timesheet tools use the dates, hours and rules you enter. Daylight saving rules, public holidays and employer or contract terms differ and change; confirm important times and pay calculations with the people and documents involved. Timesheet results are not payroll or legal advice.
Money tools
Bill splitting, unit price and meeting cost tools are simple arithmetic on your numbers. They are not financial, tax or accounting advice.
Photos and images
The image tools work on your device. Check the result before you share it: blurring may not hide every detail, and a watermark does not by itself protect a picture or prove ownership. Make sure you have the right to edit and share the images you use.
Text, color and developer tools
Accessibility checks such as color contrast report a calculation against published thresholds. They do not certify that a page is accessible or legally compliant.
